Tom ~ The Treasure Hunter
Today I walked along the Thames foreshore during a very low tide. I went down the steps just next to The Globe, walked under the Millennium Bridge and just before Blackfriars Bridge I meet two treasure hunters, Tom and Alan. After a short chat about their hobby Tom showed me a very old coin he had found earlier in the day. He kindly allowed me to take is portrait so that I could kick start my Strangers Project.
As I continued to walk along the foreshore I started to pay more attention to the ground below my feet and within a few yards I found a broken clay pipe. I returned to Tom and Alan and they told me it was a good find considering it has the Royal crest imprinted on it and the makers initials. They suggested it could be from the mid 1700's. I will investigate more!
I continued walking along as far as the OXO Tower with my eyes firmly fixed to the ground.
Thank you Tom for being #1, I really appreciate you helping me out.
